have to throw at him are cheap shots and lies.
When Bernie's entire life has been dedicated to doing the right thing,
what else have they got? And it makes them look bad, throwing stones at
such a remarkable person.

Oh I suppose they'll also try demonizing Bernie's supporters, but there is
a kind of natural law....one has to resonate with truth to be believed and
so those efforts too will fail.

Shine on Bernie. You are lighting the way.

how to increase the heating-oil aid program for the poor."

Bernie wasn't quite so famous at the time and the editor scratched his head. "Bernie Sanders," he said. "That's the one who cares, right?"

"Right, that's the guy," I said.

I got the go-ahead and the resulting story was a wild journey through the tortuous bureaucratic maze of our national legislature. I didn't write this at the time, but I was struck every day by what a strange and interesting figure Sanders was.

Many of the battles he brought me along to witness, he lost. And no normal politician would be comfortable with the optics of bringing a Rolling Stone reporter to a Rules Committee hearing.

But Sanders genuinely, sincerely, does not care about optics. He is the rarest of Washington animals, a completely honest person. If he's motivated by anything other than a desire to use his influence to protect people who can't protect themselves, I've never seen it. Bernie Sanders is the kind of person who goes to bed at night thinking about how to increase the heating-oil aid program for the poor.

certain folks had not spent all their time attacking Hillary, using GOP garbage to do it.

I have not seen a single warranted attack of Bernie other than a couple of past votes regards guns, for which he has repented for the most part.

Nothing in his personal life, and certainly nothing as in corrupt or money.

Forgetting shit he did when young, cuz Hillary has it too, there is nothing.

But the attacks of Hilary, wow, just all day everyday here and elsewhere.

I want to believe most of the attacks of Bernie here are based on that.

as a reminder. They can't get to Bernie through reputation (as is so easily the case
with Hillary) so they go after the reputations of his followers as stated in the OP.
And you can be sure they will also bring people in to make it look that way...but
truth will win the day. Be sure if you do witness misconduct to get as much info about
the perpetrators as is possible...collecting evidence and all.
