From a Bernie Guy - relax - Hillary will be Prez.

Everything is fine.
In fact, things are great for we Democrats.
Trump clinching is manna from heaven and will give us the Senate (and big gains in the House).

Bernie staying in thru California is a good thing.
He and his supporters know the super delegates will not change en masse to him.
He knows he won't get the nomination.
But, why get out now?
One more month won't damage Hillary.
It might even strengthen her with more people registering to vote.
All polling shows the vast majority, about 80%, of Bernie voters will vote Hillary in November.
The rest will vote Green or just stay home.
They won't vote for Trump. They just won't.

Bernies supporters in California and elsewhere deserve a vote on 6/7 when Hillary should clinch.
Bernie will get a good speaking spot in Philadelphia where he will bring down the house with a full throated endorsement of Hillary.
She will go on to win 40 states in November.
So, my dear Hillary friends, get a good herbal tea and a massage today.
I know you are disappointed about Indiana but that was just a blip on the screen.
on 6/7, my Bernie bumper sticker will be replaced with I'm With Her.
She will be President. Just a matter of how big the landslide will be.

It is expected he will go after the nominee...but Bernie crossed the line...and has attacked her like a Republican. He needs to go. Any article written contemporaneously and not recently by those with an axe to grind will find that she did not criticise President Obama at the end of the primary. Bernie has been awful. In fact, Trump is certainly using Bernie's words against Hillary. She did not say Bernie was unqualified. And please note that I think and others too... that he lost New York because he called her unqualified. I don't care about Bernie. I used to like him. I don't anymore. My interest is in the general to stop Trump...Hillary Clinton has won...and that is it...I do not want to see Bernie used by Trump to win the general...because then...there is no turn to the left ever as the courts will be stacked with Trumps favorite type judges...he favors Scalia. You can be bitter and angry if you want...your decision. But a primary is a means to an end...picking a candidate and then winning the general. We have our candidate. Time to move on.

Second, if you listen carefully his point is that her poor judgement (Iraq, trade, prisons, etc) should disqualify her, not that she was "unqualified" which is a distorted meme that you have apparently adopted. It's inaccurate and if that is what your issue is with him you might want to take another look at those facts. He used the qualification idiom expressly in response to her use of it.

But we differ in understanding and you are of course entitled to holding onto your view, even if it's a distorted trope.

If you want to move forward with the GE you might want to just visit GD and leave GD-P until after the convention, because you are not going to convince many of us that it's over. Personally, I believe, as a lawyer, that she is going to be disqualified, or should be, fairly soon.

Hillary Clinton went on contesting states long after it became clear that Obama would be the nominee. Despite the hand wringing it worked out pretty good for our side. Ironic, isn't it that Clinton supporters are now the ones doing the hand wringing.

I think his not dropping out is sorta circling the drain compared to Hillary dropping out with much less between her and Obama.

I also wonder if it might hurt Hillary's chances with a divided party in a small way. I think the biggest concern might be that it shortens the time window within which some of the most die-hard Bernie fans have to come around to accepting Hillary. Yeah, some never will but more will given a longer window of time.

These concerns above might be grave ones in a normal election but I just can't imagine Trump winning against either candidate. I guess time will tell but I know that peer pressure accounts for a lot and the Trumpeters are going to get a lot louder on the social media in the GE and those of us who have them in our network circles are going to weigh in.
