Romney/Ryan Campaign while NYC suffers from Sandy

Flagrant opportunists! Romney/Ryan hold campaign events (disguised as fundraisers and thanking disaster relief volunteers) after promising they wouldn't campaign Tuesday. NYC must be part of the 47%.

Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan really are a piece of work.

While New York City is quite literally drowning, Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan flip-flopped tonight on their promise not to hold any campaign events tomorrow, out of respect for the disaster this country is facing. Romney and Ryan will be holding separate “hurricane relief” events tomorrow morning, while America deals with a national catastrophe.

Here are the titles of two press releases Team Romney just sent out (see link)

Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan promised they would cancel their events and not politick tomorrow. And now, they’re not only politicking, but they’re doing it while Americans are quite literally drowning up and down the eastern seaboard. And worse, they’re using this disaster as an “opportunity,” as Mitt Romney does with every national disaster.

3. Romney is the most morally-bereft candidate of our times...

Seriously, there has been no one worse than him. He is without a soul. He will do or say anything to get elected. And changes his positions daily.. he is an etch-a-sketch and a shapeshifter.

I have never disliked a candidate as much in my life. How can people not see through him? You can look at his face and see that horrible greasy smile, and that attitude of "oh, they love me..."

He will celebrate the first responders tho he has said repeatedly that they should be fired and their unions busted. He will honor teachers while he and the Queen talk about destroying our public school system. He is a filthy opportunist, that eve the media dislikes (those that are not paid to like him.)

I want him to go down in a landslide on November 6th, along with the Koch Bros, Adelson, Rove, and the US Chamber, and the other in the band of merry idiot billionaires.

Ohio will still be feeling the effects of the storm on Tuesday. Shouldn't he leave that area alone for the first responders? La Jolla, CA is nice and sunny. And has a lot more money too for hurricane victims. Better yet, why doesn't Romney just cut a check to the Red Cross and not waste resources on a concert?

I think so too...on O'Donnell last night the guests agreed that Romney will lose if he can't make up some votes and this is why he is lying about the autos...he is running ads here in Ohio that say Pres. Obama bankrupted the autos and sold Chrysler off to the Italians who are moving all the jobs to China;people who work here for Chrysler are pissed because this sort of talk impacts sales but then the GOP liars are always ready to put their stinky party before country and talk down the economy...really Mitt...you are the biggest liar ever...and then he made a joke about Sandy and Ohio... that we don't have hurricaines...really Mitt...our lights were off all night ...we have really high winds, pounding rain an flooding...you dufus Sandy hit the Great Lakes and the kids are off school . So Mitt is coming to our state which would probably be called a disaster in Northern Ohio...but our lousy GOP governor won't so mittens does not look bad. so have they cancelled the thing in Ohio? Even it were to take place, it's going to be very windy, rainy and cold all day as the storm just sits on top of the northeast area. I doubt many people would show up.

17. Sandy hit Ohio...I hear the crews still out but we now have power

I live in Cortland Ohio...Northern Ohio...near PA...we are off school today and thousands are without power...we just got it back about an hour ago...Romney has no business coming here and we are sick of his lying face and his attempt through his big fat lies to bring Chrysler sales down..and hurt the workers in the plants.
