I'm pretty sure that Warren isn't running for President.

At least that's what she's said in the past.

Do you still not believe her?

I can't believe that this is still an issue here.

Elizabeth Warren is NOT running for President.

Why don't folks believe her?

How many times does she have to tell you before you believe her?

A few facts.

1) Sanders has never claimed to be the leader of the progressive movement.

2) Warren has never claimed to be the leader of the progressive movement.

3) he/she who tries to define for others who they should look to as a leader had already lost.

4) given your posting history I would never take your opinion with more than a molecule of NaCl as to who is progressive or not, let alone a leader.

5) calling Sanders "second slops" for the progressive movement is beyond the pale.

You did nothing to substantiate that claim.

She had every opportunity to throw her hat in the ring......If she didn't, that's fine. But SOMEONE had to run to carry the progressive banner forward. And Bernie cannot "hijack" anything if he did not have much support...He would have flopped in the beginning and joined O'malley, Webb and Chaffee on the scrap heap.....Or been another Dennis Kucinich

But I do understand the rationale of her decision not to at this time. Sanders is a more than acceptable liberal to lead the progressive wing. He's no mere 'stand-in', and for anyone familiar with Sanders there is no reluctance to support him AND her. None at all.

In any case, Warren is still doing an incredible job in the Senate. She has my support for that and whatever else she takes on in the future.

Doesn't a leader lead the charge? She declined to do so, so Sanders picked up the mantle. That makes him the de facto leader. Warren had the opportunity.
