2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumWhat's up? I used to see lots of posts with the latest long lines and big crowds for Bernie
events. Is he not doing them any more? I loved to see those huge crowds. It was inspirational.

(16,974 posts)Between the posts insulting Bernie and his supporters or the dozens of threads demanding we must vote for Hillary. Not to mention the many asking for Skinner to call it.
Seriously, less coverage just like the first six months of his campaign he had to deal with.

(1,213 posts)I cannot believe anyone believes that ridiculousness.
Bernie voters are being dropped off the voter rolls, but I doubt anyone that interested in politics would not be motivated to vote.
I understand why Hillary, who has no apparent popular support and has 'won' elections where exit polls would have implied fraud in every other democracy in the world....
would want to make up such a silly excuse, but I can't imagine why any thinking person would repeat it.

Thousands Flock To Bernie Sanders Rally In Springfield
Vermont senator and Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders delivered a wide-ranging speech Thursday at a rally in Springfield, Oregon. The campaign says a crowd of 8,000 people showed up at an outdoor rally.
Like his previous two visits to Oregon, Sanders focused on issues of income inequality and attacked Republicans for being out of touch with everyday people. He also talked briefly about Oregon in particular, citing the number of youth living in poverty.
Nearly 20,000 public school students under the age of 18 are homeless in Oregon, Sanders said. And that a quarter of the children in this great state live in households without adequate access to food.
