THINK BEFORE YOU LEAP! Unauthorized = Illegal?

I've been reading this morning some posts on the findings of DNC joint investigation of the data breach. The glee-dripping proclamations of Sanders being a thief. Boil that dust speck!!!

Very serious accusations.

Reading the DNC report of the investigation, I see it nowhere conflates unauthorized use with an illegal nature of that use. Two different things. For instance, someone might post a picture of you on FB unbeknownst to you. Its a friend, you're at the same party. You look happy! Yay! No harm, no foul. Now, someone might do the same maliciously (taken from a different angle with bbq sauce dripping from your mouth down your cleavage for instance), and you could sue.

The use of said photo makes it legal or not. They are separate issues.

If you want to make unauthorized use and illegal use the same thing - You have just condemned your candidate for the unauthorized use of a private server.

THINK BEFORE YOU LEAP!!!

1. More spin. The investigation and even your bull indicates Sanders' campaign acted unethically.

Worse, his campaign tried to blame their unethical behavior on Clinton and DNC. I don't care whether it was illegal, not suggesting he or his staff should be prosecuted. But, it would be nice to see some honesty. Claiming in a press release that they are dropping the law suit because the investigation reveals his campaign did nothing wrong, is a straight out lie. He should have just dropped the suit to save his campaign money and said nothing about it. Instead, his campaign issues a BS press release, starting more BS spin by his supporters.

2. You know the lawsuit and the investigation are 2 different animals, right?

And if you don't care whether it was illegal, than stop saying stole. That just makes you a troll.

4. No, they are related. Once the investigation demonstrated his staff acted unethically, the law suit

would not have gotten anywhere, assuming it would have in the first place. Fact is, his staff stole data, illegal or not. No one pressed any charges, just penalized him for part of a day.

I do understand your explanation of his dropping the suit though

Given that so many Bernie people are finding they are suddenly not registered Dems. The numbers of switched is just too large and Hill has a history of dirty pool
