Goodbye, John Huntsman. Anyone remember what Rove said in 2008 about Obama?

Anyone else remember that ridiculosity that Karl Rove came out with during the 2008 campaign about Obama?

About Obama, it was ridiculous; to my mind, about Huntsman, it is "spot on:"

"Even if you never met him, you know this guy. He’s the guy at the country club with the beautiful date, holding a martini and a cigarette that stands against the wall and makes snide comments about everyone who passes by."

I think this is why Huntsman never went anywhere. Not for right-left reasons, but there's just something about him, maybe in his character, or maybe it's just his physiognomy (the way his mouth moves in particular) but he seems like "that guy."

of law enforcement. Huntsman got no traction in the Republican Primaries because he is not insane enough to meet their standards. Karl Rove is, that should be all anyone needs to know about Republicans, that they revere a immoral, lying, vindictive, unintelligent, most likely criminal, perhaps even treasonous, POS like Rove.
