2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumLOL @ Bernie supporters asking independents to vote in the primary because "the judge might open it"
so so so so clearly out of touch with established law and just plain common sense...
I'm willing to bet a substantial amount that the primary will NOT be opened by the district court. Not at 2pm on the day of voting. Not without legislation.

(9,748 posts)It isn't just Democrats and Republicans whose taxes pay the expenses for these primaries. Those Independants taxes pay for this too.

The lead attorney in a 2014 graduate from a law school that Above the Law evidently likes to laugh at. http://publicrecords.onlinesearches.com/view/lid/3242

Squinch
(50,922 posts)This doesn't have anything to do with anyone's right to work being undermined.
Every person in New York is voting exactly as they CHOSE to vote. When they registered to vote in New York they were told that if they registered as Independents they could not vote in the primary. THEY CHOSE to exercise their right to vote as Independents who can't vote in the primary.

(1,511 posts)With was a HRC poster that posted those lines about basically only nepotism based voting, for mature people and their friends. The person later deleted all of their posts. Lots of hidden posts on their page, so maybe they were afraid to get banned.
