Meanwhile everyone on the left has drunk the Bernie Koolaid and is dutifully attacking the woman standing in Bernie’s way. Daily Kos is Bernie Central. The Huffington Post has been known to run twenty stories in a single day, slamming Hillary and praising Bernie: one of their “reporters” – a fantasy novelist named whose name we won’t mention here but you likely already know it – is a full-time Hillary-basher and is so over the top that even other liberals hesitate to quote him.
And of course MSNBC, apparently bowing down to its corporate masters who dislike the Clintons and want to see Bernie compete well against Hillary. Pro-Hillary voices have been driven off the air. Rachel Maddow, once the best reporter in America, has been muzzled. Lawrence O’Donnell can always be counted on to cherry-pick polling data to cast Hillary in the worst possible light. Chuck Todd stages Hillary Hate Central every Sunday morning. Andrea Mitchell hates Hillary so much you’d think the two of them fought over Prom King in high school.

But, while admitting that I have a pro-Bernie bias but having tried to stifle it as much as possible when considering how the media treat the candidates, I've gotta say this is rank bullshit. If you favor Candidate A, you will tend to bask in the wonderfulness of any positive media treatment about A, to the point where you accept such reports as simply unslanted, unbiased news. But when a positive report comes out about Candidate B, or a negative one about A, you take great umbrage. And more importantly, you remember it. Consequently, seen through the prism of your own bias "the media" are being unfair to A.
However, there have been studies of the media throughout this campaign that have objectively quantified positive vs. negative reporting, and have found that Hillary has received by far the most coverage and the most favorable coverage of the Dem candidates (Trump got more press than anybody, but that's because he's a train wreck). Bernie was almost entirely ignored until a couple of months ago, and most of the reporting he did receive was dismissive ("Isn't he quaint? He can't win, of course"
