2. My grandson who is 10 yrs old blames Obama for the gas prices. I know he is getting that BS

from his Grandpa on his mother's side. I told him that the president has nothing to do with pricing the gas. I told him he needs to remind grandpa that the reason prices were down when Obama came in was because the economy was tanking. That shut him up. I can't wait to see him and tell him the great news.

3. I noticed that too. Really bad timing for the Republicans.

I paid $.35/gallon less on the way back to DC than I paid three weeks ago, on the way out, and I even saw gas at $.45 less at one station, but I was already tanked-up.

Personally, I think it's the oil companies saying they prefer the devil they know and current policies over a total wildcard. WWIII wouldn't be good for profits (though I'm sure they'd figure out a way to make lots and lots of money).
