I think she tried to counter and blunt Bernie more this time since last time was a surprise. She came in better prepared both in policy and in tactics such as talking over him after interrupting him to run out his time. She was obviously more prepared by citing his book, etc...

Bernie stumbled a bit out of the gate, just a bit but neither was super strong then. I think he's somewhat flabberghasted by the sheer volume and size of her lies and that isn't something you can adequately prepare for. Her insistence that she's always supported a $15 min wage, her lies on Vermont guns, etc... How do you prepare to debate someone that won't even stick to facts and just makes up new positions on the fly?

I think Hillary is still living in the past where you cannot fact check things on the Internet so it's a reflexive habit to just lie and say what works at the time.

All that said, I think Bernie cleaned her clock in the second half.

Bernie, please do some homework! A little oppo research (on Google fer heaven sake) will go a LONG way. She has plenty of factually provable weaknesses; please provide some details and she will topple.

Fri Apr 15, 2016, 11:38 AM

Thought she did well on guns, but the rest of the debate I thought was her worst performance.

Evasive, deflecting to other issues than those asked, continually talked when moderators asked to stop indicating internal tension that she needed to speak so others can't, and when caught in lies double downed. Body language filled with resentment.

Unable to give a consistent answer on minimum wage, unable to answer yes/no on the soc sec cap., horrendous answers on foreign policy, retreated to Roe v Wade which wasn't even asked when she was uncomfortable, was an embarassment to her claims about transparency when asked about the transcripts.

Bottom line, I didn't see a leader, or a person willing to make any real strides as a President, no real "vision." The overall message is "we have to work within what we have now," and "we need to take back the congress" Stuff that isn't really leading, but doubling down on her message of pragmatism rather than progress.

Perhaps, this is her new slogan. Pragmatism before Progress!

Frankly, just doesn't do anything for me.

Quoting her republican father and talking

talking points of the Repuglicans.

To hear that at a democratic debate from

I actually watched the debate twice. After the pundits were done ruminating, I watched the entire thing AGAIN.

Hillary is usually very poised, calm and articulate in debates. I would agree that she often has the upper hand in debates, when it comes to style points. There have been a couple of debates where she was in firm command.

Last night's debate was not one of those nights. She didn't totally bomb. She had some very impressive moments, especially when she waxes poetic about foreign policy. Bernie is Bernie (and that's why we love him), but she is definitely more polished.

However, she was totally off last night. Big time. So much so, that I am wondering if the FBI investigation isn't heating up. It's highly likely that her aids are being interviewed. This would be a paradigm shifter. It would be the first time that the Hillary camp could get an accurate reading on the FBI's case against her, how serious this is and what is likely to happen. There are other signs that this is the case, as Obama has publicly made comments about the investigation.

Hillary's tone and tenor was similar to how she acted during the embarrassing finger-wagging episode with the Greenpeace activist. Anyone would get riled up during a debate. However, she seemed generally angry, on edge and terse, most of the night.

I noticed a big difference in her mood last night, compared to other debates.

I actually think that's the big story of this debate. There's no story, as far as blunders or this debate being a game changer.

There have been rumblings about both camp's internal polling showing a tighter race.

I have literally laughed off most polling at this point. It has been highly inaccurate. Bernie has won many races and the polls have been off on the numbers by 20 as much as points.

There are many signs that Bernie is doing well in NY and many reasons to think he could do well. In upstate NY, he has done extremely well. Plenty of colleges/universities in those areas. Fracking is HUGE in upstate New York. Zephyr Teachout won several of these fracking-focused counties with 70 percent of the vote with her staunch anti-fracking stance! She may have lost against Cuomo, but she managed to get 36 percent and that shocked many people. She did it by winning those upstate NY counties, and I think Bernie has them in the bag.

I think Bernie has done very well in NYC. Plenty of young people and he's done a great job of campaigning there. Being from Brooklyn doesn't hurt either.

Clinton has seemed even more stressed than usual the last few days. During the debate, it appeared more than just Sanders getting under skin. I think it likely the FBI.

I have been looking for clues to when the interviews were / will be with the FBI. My guess would be that they have already begun with her staff.
