Double talk on tax returns vs. speeches

I listened to Hillary Clinton talking about tax returns and speech transcripts. She released her tax returns, so that's the standard, what all candidates should do. She didn't make public her speeches, so that's the standard, the thing candidates don't do. The truth is, neither tax returns nor speech transcripts are required, so neither candidate should be "demanding" either of these things. They both poke and prod each other on this issue, but I don't know if it's legitimate.

1. As a Bernie supporter, I don't like anyone hiding anything IN THIS ELECTION

Which is mainly about Corruption, and money in Politics.

I do think Bernie Sanders should release his tax returns, he said he is going to, we'll see them. Yes, it's odd how long it's taking but consider this. He's not saying " I won't release my Tax Returns unless all my opponents do!!!" (Trump)

I also think Hillary should release the damn transcripts, We are DEMOCRATS. We SET standards, not Republicans.
And yes, No one has before. But this ELECTION is different. No one could say, Release the speeches before because EVERYONE had those speeches. The issues Bernie brought INTO play this election AND the change of HER STANCES make her transcripts important.

2. Yes, that should be something Democrats do.

Democrats have nothing to hide. All Democratic candidates should release their tax returns every year. No Democratic candidate should make speeches considered confidential.
