I've been going to the same church for years. I've never been invited to the AGM as I'm not a member

I feel disenfranchised that I cannot vote on any of the resolutions that could impact me such as budget and senior leadership issues.

The membership process requires me to go through a membership course and interview which is more commitment than I have.

What should I do?

1. Take your post to the religious forum.

Many of us do not wish to partake of religion, and they would be better equipped to answer your question there. Thanks

5. Brilliant! Well played!

A much better analogy than the Chinese restaurant comparison I recently read here!

6. It's time to start speaking truth to power and taking down the establishment!

Forcing you to take some small steps to demonstrate an interest in the church is a violation of your basic human right to pursue the religion of your choice. And, this has been happening in every religion across America!

Start protesting immediately! We can start by initiating an on-line petition calling on the US Government to begin an investigation of the church for membership fraud, disenfranchisement, and suppression.

Begin a social network informing others in real time of problem areas, and notify authorities. Document, document, document!

Hold a rally. Here's a picture of the rally we held this afternoon:

The people -- united -- will never be defeated!

9. This is not a Church Forum, 'AGM' means nothing to me at all, and religious issues should be kept

in your wee religion forum, no?
