2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumUntrustworthy and uninspiring is a dismal combination
Hillary is not only thought of as untrustworthy, as the figures above show, but she is incredibly uninspiring.
I have never seen a weaker candidate -well, Dukakis and Mondale were close, but they were only uninspiring, not viewed by the majority of people as untrustworthy.
There is going to be a crushing deflation in enthusiasm if and (probably when) Hillary wins the nomination. She can't put asses in seats and I think we will find that translates to voter turnout too.
She is a train wreck in slow motion. Untrustworthy and uninspiring.

(8,755 posts)finding and endorsing a better 2016 POTUS candidate than Hillary Clinton.
Hillary may well become POTUS and I may be cornered into voting for Clinton.
But I will hold a drudge.
There will be Democrats looking to primary Hillary Clinton in 2020, the moment Hillary Clinton is nominated.
The Democratic Party leadership and DNC should have found a candidate more universally respected within the Party.
Shame as the GOP candidates are losers and potential nightmares.
Hillary Clinton would be a POTUS less transformative, less effective, and less attractive on world stage compared to POTUS Obama.
If POTUS Obama was the start to transformation, Hillary Clinton is a side road.
Shame.

or better our number in the house, there are downsides in down ticket races that are not being considered by a party leadership, with their hands firmly pushing on the scales for Hillary Clinton.
