Jeffrey Sachs on the Clinton Foundation and on the sense of entitlement of Wall Street

There is another short video of Sachs at the link below on the Wall Street mentality.

http://www.theguardian.com/business/video/2012/apr/12/jeffrey-sachs-wall-street-video

"I live near Wall Street. The sense of entitlement of Wall Street is beyond quantification. They could not figure out why anyone could be mad at them for nearly having destroyed the world economy, taken home $30 billion a year of bonuses, gotten bailed out to the tune of another trillion dollars, then lobbied for no regulation afterwards, and "what do those kids have against us?"...and you know what, I don't think that they were kidding, except themselves. I think that they don't get it. So that was experiment #8. Wreck the planet. Do you accept any responsibility? No."

They do business in places like the Sudan and the Republic of Congo, some of the most corrupt and violent places in the world. Each has given $100 million to the Clinton Foundation. Bill Clinton flies around the world on Giustra's private jet. From what I have read, their specialities are doing sweetheart deals with corrupt foreign despots for mineral rights and business deals and then kicking back to the despots. It is stealing from their citizenry and the Clinton Foundation appears to me to have become sort of a clearing house for it. Sachs is involved in a lot of international charities and groups focused on wealth inequality. He knows what is going on at the Clinton Foundation.

It is mind boggling the absolute denial of what this demonstrates relative to the "character" of a former Secretary of State who likely was using her position to gain favor with the moneyed elite.

If they went after Hillary on this stuff her campaign would be dead in the water in 2 weeks. Most of the American public isn't digging around for this information. Young people are, which is why Hillary is getting crushed in the under 45 vote.

reform needs to come from outside the corrupted system, from people without conflicts of interest.

It is time for the US to clean house, we simply cannot go forward without restoring ethics, health of the land and people, and peaceful relations--we have work to do and these addicts are obviously an obstruction to this justice.

The issues of the corruption of the top 0.1%, income inequality, the dominance of multinational corporations, the military-industrial complex and climate change are global issues. The Panama Papers will help to make the linkages clear. Hopefully Bernie's attendance at the upcoming meetings at the Vatican will highlight that.

A political revolution in the U.S. could help produce similar revolutions in other parts of the world that need it.

these international entities are a global problem, hopefully many good people will be inspired to pick a better future than what they have planned.
