My day started reading outrage and weak mockery about Sanders meeting the Pope.

I couldn't figure it out --until I realized that if you are a democrat and are trying to pass as a progressive, you really have very little to talk about.

Well there is the gun thing, but that doesn't work out well when you consider that Hillary's votes led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands or more.

Then there's the BLM thing, but then you got Hillary's husband doubling down on the "bring the superpredator black kids to heel" thing.

So, yeah. The fucking Pope, man!

Did the Pope summon Sanders, or did he hype the "invitation?" Hoyt Apr 2016 #1

Regularity is important, but that's for a different thread that will hopefully never happen. Bran flakes aside, I agree with you.

Perhaps candidate H is more deserving of the moniker of bran flake byproduct?

less than 30 people, mostly white folks. If the Pope had anything to do with it, it's to try to reach Sanders and his supporters that Americans don't always have to be first. The rest of the world deserves a chance.

It's really about how many Catholics there are in NY. And about Bill's peeing on the rug with BLM. Quick look Bernie wasn't invited err he invited himself oh wait he isn't really gonna see to Pope.

Is the incredibly inappropriate level of concern over this.

Just what is the big deal?

And OMG, because he said "yup" to a question on the View, people are all OMG WTF!

But, in fact, he was invited by representatives of the Pope, though we don't know that he'll have an audience with his Holiness.

A visit to the Vatican is a visit to the Pope, that's just the way it is, even if the Pope is in Greece.

They went off the frickin deep end, plunged down an abyss and took a left turn at crazy town.

Most of the early agitators returned later in the afternoon and doubled down on their bizarre talking points--even after Margaret Archer's lies were exposed and debunked by her superior, Monsignor Marcelo Sanchez Soronodo, who is an aid to the Pope.

Soronodo said about Archer's accusations, "That is not true and she knows it. I invited him with her consensus." Then Sorondo mailed the invitation, which was signed by Archer and Sorondo on 3/30, to many US press outlets.

Talk about the ultimate smackdown.

I guess those who continued to spew the same talking points, were under marching orders from someone who went out for martinis and forget to tell them to quit while they were extremely behind.

Even the most dedicated are having a tough time pulling it off.

They keep moving the goalposts and trying to spin off new memes.
