(13,190 posts)Every positive poll for Obama someone counters with a negative poll that tells me there are trolls on DU pretending to be democrats I've been a member of DU for 7 years now so my progressiveness speaks for itself

(9,774 posts)Post whatever they want and have a right to be worried if they feel that way. This feels like 2004 when people here who were worried about the polls were bashed and called a troll. Many DUers would not believe any negative polling.

(2,921 posts)I'm not concerned.
Obama just hit a grand slam and made Rmoney look like he's running for second grade Student Council.

Always wise to read all the text that comes with a poll.

Losing Democrats but people are causing traffic chaos to see him at a stump speech at 8:00a.m on a weekday morning.

(45,481 posts)Of course it is usually shown as "let slip the dogs of war," but it is often paraphrased as "let loose the dogs of war."

O, pardon me, thou bleeding piece of earth,
That I am meek and gentle with these butchers!
Thou art the ruins of the noblest man
That ever lived in the tide of times.
Woe to the hand that shed this costly blood!
Over thy wounds now do I prophesy,--
Which, like dumb mouths, do ope their ruby lips,
To beg the voice and utterance of my tongue--
A curse shall light upon the limbs of men;
Domestic fury and fierce civil strife
Shall cumber all the parts of Italy;
Blood and destruction shall be so in use
And dreadful objects so familiar
That mothers shall but smile when they behold
Their infants quarter'd with the hands of war;
All pity choked with custom of fell deeds:
And Caesar's spirit, ranging for revenge,
With Ate by his side come hot from hell,
Shall in these confines with a monarch's voice
Cry 'Havoc,' and let slip the dogs of war;
That this foul deed shall smell above the earth
With carrion men, groaning for burial.

(111 posts)The title of the poll is "Obama erases Romney lead". At first, you had me freaking out. I was expecting some B.S. Gallup poll numbers. A tie is fine, especially since last week's poll showed Romney up by 4.
This is going to be a close race. No surprise here. We're probably going to have to wait until Nov. 6, maybe even Nov.7 to find out who wins. Just sit back and strap it down.
