(24,411 posts)and the facts you posted are irrefutable.
Hillary Clinton, on the other hand will never refute the facts.
She is a proven liar. It is well documented that she lies with a smile on her face (Bosnian sniper fire). There is a reason that a majority in this country find her dishonest, poll after poll. She lies.
She's become totally unhinged. A Greenpeace activist initially asked Hillary about fossil-fuel contributions. But she screamed about Sander's supporters lying about her. It was Greenpeace, dipshit.
Now she's doubled down with the lies. 42 oil and gas lobbyists are maxed out on Hillary contributions. Plus she's AGAIN disparaging Bernie supporters.
I think her impending FBI interrogation is taking its toll. She's become a whirling dervish of ourrageous lies, wild-eyed screaming and middle-school taunts.
She's totally running on adrenaline and fear.

I actually think she did the right thing here. Arguing about one lie doesn't clear up all the others. When these younger voters actually do their own research, they will find out. No point in trying to replace one set of propoganda with another...they can find out for themselves.

The more research people do, the less they support Team Hill. That is, unless you support Bush Era policies. Then I suppose it's great to have a Dem willing to fight for those?

I can also find links of Kerry being told that it was unlikely that they could have any diplomatic success on climate change. Apparently, the Chinese did not respond to HRC "hunting them down" or telling them what to do.

She claims she's done all this diplomacy, however she still is taking money from the fossil fuel industry, "covertly'' you might say. Jim Naureckas' piece on NPR's failure to factcheck Hillary Clinton's claim that Bernie Sanders is "lying" about her ties to fossil fuel lobbyists was picked up by CommonDreams.org:
Overbys job, as he interprets it, is just to confirm that Clinton was indeed accurate in saying she accepts money from people who work for fossil-fuel companies.... If theres an implication that dirty energy has got her on a string, Overby observes, campaign finance data suggest it wouldnt be much of a string.
But what about lobbyists working for the oil, gas and coal industryisnt that what Sanders is supposed to be lying about, to the point of making Hillary Clinton sick? To give him credit, Overby is good enough to tell us what he isnt telling us: "The industry total here doesnt include lobbyists with fossil-fuel clients...."
Wellwhy not include lobbyists with fossil-fuel clients, since that is what the Sanders campaign, like other critics, was explicitly talking about?

(59,501 posts)They did NOT lead to the Paris Agreement. In fact, John Kerry, when talking to Obama about the job of Secretary of State was said to have said he wanted climate change to be a signature issue -- just as woman's issues were for HRC. He was told that the administration held out little hope for any diplomatic break through on climate change.
Note that at one debate, HRC spoke of hunting down the Chinese. In another she spoke of TELLING the Chinese what they had to do. Kerry, on the other hand, spoke of how on his first trip to China with Obama's permission, he spoke to Chinese people involved on the issue he long knew from his own role in earlier climate change summits - especially the Bali conference. He spoke of listening to them and making a case that the US and China could do something together on this. The Chinese delegation on this was even invited to some talks at Kerry's Boston house.
Ban Ki Moon actually spoke of how some of the ideas from the Bali Conference, which Kerry was very helpful - enough that the Bush delegation actually thanked him at a SFRC meeting on the conference, were the basis of the approach used in Paris. This was the idea that different countries all set goals that can be different given the circumstances.
I have no doubt that both HRC and Bernie believe in climate change and that they will work to move forward in fighting it. However, the Copenhagen conference was a failure - and a major disappointment as the hope expressed in Bali was that with a supportive American President - and both McCain and Obama - were willing to work to stop climate change - the world could move forward. There are MANY people who deserve credit for there being a Paris Agreement, but the SoS who deserves that credit is John Kerry. Kerry worked on this issue throughout his entire career and did FAR FAR more as Secretary of State than Clinton did.
Thank you.
