My prediction on tonight's debate

The assumption going into this debate is that Mittens has little experience or knowledge concerning foreign affairs. So Mittens really doesn't have anywhere to go other than up. In his usually style he will spew a verbal plethora of foreign affairs garbage and in the process bamboozle the average voter. Even though much of what he says will be non-sensible the media will jump all over it as showing how well informed Romney is when it comes to international issues. Obama will do fine but he will not really have the time to comprehend or refute all the garbage coming from Romney and at the same time defend what is really a very good record as Commander in Chief. The media blitz afterward for Romney will be nauseating. In the big picture I don't think this debate will really have much influence on the election and I think it will be boring so my recommendation is black coffee or No-Doze while you are watching it and hard booze for the post debate media analysis.

what happened in the first debate was that Romney said so many things that were contrary to previous positions and just outta left field completely that the President didn't know how to respond and was frankly a lil shell-shocked.

the President needs to be prepared for that tonight as well.

Iran, warning Obama about or predicting Obama will be appeasing Iran. He unwittingly assumes it will be Obama as President and not him having those talks! Then Obama jumps all over it and can say, "you are correct Governor that I will be the one negotiating nukes with Iran and not you!" Drops the mic and walks off!

crazy talk on FP is already out there - or could have been dug up and researched.

They have shown a lot of weakness in this regard, IMHO.

He should have a strong theme to thread throughout too. Rash Romney, consequences. Possible war monger. "The Arab world is new in its freedom in some countries. They are having growing pains and terror still flickers. "

And they HAD BETTER have a good comeback for "Apologizing for our Values"

Everyone knows Obama got Bin Laden....do not mention....but mention BY NUMBER Al Qaeda leaders gone now.

Hope the Obama Team watched CNBC today.. All the biz types were saying they don't like Romney's China Bashing.

Obama did great last week and the MSM pretty much ignored it, yet when Romney won the first debate they went on for two weeks talking about nothing but that debate--and that more than anything he did in the debate is why he began to move up. If Romney has a good night it will be non-stop MSM puff pieces about Romney's debate performance for the last two weeks of the campaign. I'm sure the president is ready, however, and will do fine.

President Obama has to be aggressive and not let any lie stand as fact. Expect Mitt to come in stating bold face lies as facts. President Obama will have to immediately say NO! you are wrong.

As I said on facebook: I just don't see what Romney can say. His foreign tour was a bust. The president has been taking action against China while Romney was investing there. Clinton took responsibility for Benghazi. The CIA is issued a report that the deaths really DID arise out of a protest over the film. The prez is loved overseas. Bin Laden is dead. Al Queda broken. We're out of Iraq and leaving Afghanistan. US-Israeli relations are just fine and Iran is being sanctioned. Romney and Ryan have NO foreign policy experience. Obama is a wartime president and Biden has vast experience. Just don't see where he's going to go, except a lot of hand waving and chest thumping. But Obama is pretty good at pointing out that its easy to talk trash from behind mama's skirts. It's different when your talk has consequences.

I'm guessing immigration comes up in one way or another. Romney will say he is going to give amnesty to all undocumented immigrants. His campaign will be walking it back even before he says it. He'll end the debate claiming he will sign 12 million trade deals and has already received personal guarantees from both Israel and Palestine that they will end ALL fighting the minute he is declared the winner. And Tagg Romney will lead an army of magic ninjas into Iran to remove all Uranium. Don't forget his October surprise: Proof that he will show us after the election that Obama has been renting a room in the White House to the Loch Ness Monster, a sworn enemy of the United States.
