Do people really want to keep things the way they are? This is not going to help anyone that makes less than 200k per year (or so).
Don't believe the latest narrative they are peddling. The status quo is not as secure as they think it is.
Say anything and change nothing. There's a reason this statement resonated then and there's a reason it won't resonate now.
That is all.

If nothing else, Bernie is our best bet to mitigate the damage. Even if you don't believe he is, the other options certainly are no better. They are worse. Much, much worse.

(2,450 posts)Is it a smart one? Probably not, but that is not my call. It's up to every individual to vote however they see fit. Tribalism run amok is just as toxic for democrats as it is for republicans.
This isn't about Bernie or Bust, this is about the insidious, diabolical and false narrative that tries to guilt people into voting against their interests. Especially since the narrative isn't even true. It's about as logical as poor whites voting republican because of racial anxieties. Actually, now that I think about it, it's pretty damn close to the flip side of the same coin.
It's ugly and sick.
