She will win NYC and the surrounding suburbs big.

Aren't there piles of the richest people in the country living there? And don't many polls show that she's got a lock on the 5% vote?

Most of the upper crust here are not registered Democrats.

We are middle income and poor people for the most part.

28. Understood.

What strikes me is Teachout's performance in the state against Cuomo in the primary. What did that say??

29. I voted for Teachout and it said not everyone was sold on Cuomo.

But the turnout of that primary and that of April 19 will be different.

You're not running to do better than expected; you're running to win.

38. And Bernie has done a lot of that winning, hasn't he.

+ In a typical general election a 60-33 win would pretty good. But for a sitting governor in a party primary it's bad by the standard of recent history. Ahead of the primary FiveThirtyEight looked at party primary races around the nation involving incumbent governors since 2002 -- and Cuomo's percentage of the vote in this primary ranks near the bottom of this list.

It's an especially weak result for Cuomo considering two other factors: 1) Just a few months ago polls indicated very few people knew much of anything about Zephyr Teachout and 2) Cuomo had an enormous money advantage.

40. So has Clinton...

...bottom line: Zephyr Teachout started behind Cuomo...and stayed there.

nb - I'll be happy to support her in NY-19 if she can actually win the Primary; just as I'll be happy to support Sanders. In all honesty, I'd give Teachout better odds of winning in November.

7. He still won't win this borough. Sorry but a block party will not cut it.

I appreciate him trying but he will only win the northwest corner of Brooklyn.

The central, eastern, and southern ends of the boroughs will go for Hillary.

Neither you nor Hillary own Brooklyn, stop acting like it.

Let people post threads about New York without you constantly trying to derail them.

This is the third thread you've tried to ruin.

30. Calling a state "Clinton country" isn't reality, it's entitlement.

And that's what bothers Hillary supporters: Bernie got in the way of the coronation.

She's going to have to work for those votes after all.

14. You do remember there are whole big sections of New York...

... that AREN'T NYC, right?

Upstate, Finger Lakes, Adirondacks, the North Country, Buffalo, Utica, etc. etc.
Knowing Brooklyn and knowing New York state aren't the same thing. Downstaters seem to forget that, sometimes.
