$353,400 to attend Clinton fund raiser

Bernie Sanders’s campaign (manager Jeff Weaver) lashed out at Hillary Clinton on Friday for a lavish fundraising dinner her campaign has planned with actor George Clooney.

“... a dinner event that will cost people up to $353,400 to attend.”

“It’s a sum that would require an employee making the federal minimum wage to work 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for more than 5 years,” he said.
Weaver included a fundraising pitch, saying that the Sanders campaign was relying on small donations from “working Americans.”

It is all about the money. The fools who fall for this crap.

But it's her turn. Apparently.

But yes, the problem is that politicians are allowed to accept these kinds of donations to their SuperPACs. There was much ado about George and Amal Clooney being one of the $350K "co-chairs" at this Clinton event. The problem isn't that they donated to Clinton. The problem is that anyone can donate unlimited amounts. The Kochs donate millions.

For that kind of money it must be something akin to an all endangered species menu, or candied moon rocks.
