don't get bent out of shape over a tweet.

The tweet didn't even reveal the results. It was a tweet teasing poll results that haven't even been released yet.

Can't they title their tweet something like, "Obama's lead smaller in our polling than NBC" or something like that instead of saying saying "Romney will do much better in our poll " or something to that effect. It is like TPM saying "Obama's lead in Colorardo cut to 3" instead of saying "Obama still leading by 3 in Colorado". The way these things are written seem to be rooting for the evil side.

There is a narrative at stake here and every media member, whether intentional or not, drives that narrative.

I hear it all the time. When Obama leads by six, they'll be quick to remind us that it's 'a narrow lead' and it gets old. The PPP tweet was ridiculous and as if they were gloating at the numbers instead of reporting 'em.

Had they, like you said, tweeted out something with less snark, I don't believe people would be as upset. But these negative teases only piss people off more.

There is nothing in that tweet that indicates where the polling is and how off they are from the NBC numbers. Is Romney leading? Is Obama up by a smaller margin? It's a useless tweet meant to get everyone in a panic so that they can sit on the edge of their seat waiting for the results.
