To pressure someone into taking a stand or revealing his beliefs or intentions; to compel someone to act immediately and against his will. In print since the mid-19th century, this expression perhaps derives from card games in which one player forces another to play a particular card and thereby reveal the contents of his hand. Another possible theory is that force [someone’s] hand is like twist [someone’s] arm, suggesting that the present figurative use derives from actual physical force.

So, by suggesting to their employees that they vote for Romney or else... What else can be implied.

This is beyond the pale in an open democratic society. Even suggesting that one person's employment would be contingent on how they vote...

Not in the 21st century, not in a mature democracy. This is the result of a culture that seems to worship the accumulation of power and money above all else and they will do what ever it takes to preserve their way of life.

No, if this is left unlooked at, then it really says something about the country or rather about the people who are sitting in high places that believe this country is only here for the benefit of them.

Party, Koch Brothers, etc. or RICO charges. They are running a corrupt organization for the express purpose of gaming the electorial process.
