All Three Networks Ignored Bernie Sanders' Speech Tuesday Night, 'Standing By For Trump'

As Bernie Sanders took the stage on Tuesday night, the cable networks continued doing what they do best -- talking.

Fox News, CNN and MSNBC all declined to carry Sanders' speech, instead offering punditry about the evening, with the chyrons promising, "AWAITING TRUMP" and "STANDING BY FOR TRUMP."

Hillary Clinton last week got similarly dissed by the networks in favor of Trump.

Earlier Tuesday, The Huffington Post's Michael Calderone reported that the media have collectively given Trump some $2 billion worth of free air time.

I think it was delayed though. They broadcast Hillary's speech, then Trumps and then Bernie's. Sometimes, I like radio news better than television, really. It's like baseball. I much prefer listening to a baseball game than watching it.

I don't remember where ...could have been CNN or MSNBC...but I saw it...the walton remark was a cheap shot directed at Hilary...almost sorry I voted for him here in Ohio. Yes folks laught all you want...he is a liberal and I swore I would vote for someone if such a candidate appeared.

And that's on top of not even sticking around in any of the states that were voting. Instead, he was off to Arizona, at a rally where they had to keep the TVs shut off to prevent the audience from seeing the live election returns.

decided not to cover Bernie's speech before he didn't mention five states or anything else.

Furthermore Bernie's speech was a signal that's he not quitting the race.

The only reason the corporate media conglomerates decided not cover Bernie's speech is because the message hits to close to home for them as they're loaded with inherent conflict of interest against his policies.

did go quite frequently to one of his viewing parties. There were hardly any people there, a few dejected-looking folks holding Bernie signs, but that was understandable - the writing for election results last night was already being written on the wall!
