This was taken before Debate 2.

Hopefully at least in the swing state polls we we can get a little bounce.

I think about a 2% uptick for Obama among likely voters, perhaps 1-2% drop for Romney.

Basically Obama is going to win back the voters he lost after the first debate.

Point is if we win, Ohio, Wisconsin and Iowa that will seal this election...would put the President at 271, wouldn't matter if Romney got 100% of the vote in the southern states....

These guys didn't give Obama any daylight after an historic election in 2008 and a blowout in both popular vote and electoral college.

Just getting 271 will give those fuckers enough ammo to spin the election that it was Romney's fault vs America happy with Obama and they'll be even worse in a lame duck term.

I know a win's a win, but think long term here guys. I want those fuckers crushed and their souls decimated on Election Day so Obama can claim a mandate(something I know he WON'T do) like Cheney did after squeaking by in 2004.

I agree.

Getting the win, obviously, is most important.

But, if he limps past 270, they, and the "liberal" media, will really spin it into a negative, and the frame will be used to justify the republican house (presumably) doing absolutely nothing for the next two years at least.

They have to clear 270, but also get states like Va and Co back into the fold, and hopefully find a way to to get florida.

Getting over real close to, or over 300, will bring enough weight and spread to HELP mute the republican framing.
