This is love and respect: Vermont has about 250 towns and cities. Bernie Sanders won every one.

Three of Vermont’s 10 superdelegates announced Tuesday that they’ll vote for Sen. Bernie Sanders at the Democratic Party’s nominating convention this July.

One of those superdelegates, Secretary of State Jim Condos, says Sanders’ showing in the Vermont primary cemented his decision to pledge for the Vermont senator.

“It’s unprecedented for a candidate to win their own state by such an immense margin,” Condos said at a press conference in the Statehouse early Tuesday afternoon. “In a stunning show of support, Bernie also won every single town in the state.”
He won every town. Every liberal town, every conservative town, every town in between. A politician who earns this degree of support from his or her constituents is truly a rare bird.

I know him from listening to Thom Hartmann for years. He is the real deal. No other candidate is the real deal.

on Bill Moyer's show. Plus I used to watch who voted for what, and then there was that 8 1/2 hour filibuster speech! Yep, he IS the real deal!

Howard Dean's brother works for Bernie, too.
He has all too many reminders both in real life and on social media that he really is a pathetic sell-out. And yet, he won't stop being a pathetic sell-out.
I don't know if it's just me, but every time I catch him on TV, I can just see that he wears shame.

But, I would not call it shame. Seriously, the term smarminess comes to mind.

smarminess
Noun
1. smug self-serving earnestness
(synonym) fulsomeness, oiliness, oleaginousness, unctuousness, unction
(hypernym) hypocrisy

That combination of honesty and confidence is bordering on sexy.
