(598 posts)And it's effective in some areas.... Bernie really is a socialist, who visited and praised Communists. Don't underestimate the stupidity of millions of Americans.

(57,936 posts)from people. The Communists in those countries killed and killed to hold their revolutions to install themselves in government and run the country.
But, a) we have even more people in prison than they do, and b) our capitalist companies funded to a great extent with capitalist money from our stock market employ their people, remove factories and equipment from our country to build them there (taking our jobs away) and import the goods made in those Communist countries into our country in spite of the fact that we have a trade deficit????
So we are getting a very mixed message about Communists.
The capitalists who build factories in Communist countries (and they will do that in Cuba too now that it is legal to go there) need to think about whether they want us to hate the communists or love them enough to buy stuff from them.
It's very confusing.
I think that the Cuba and China are Communist concept has become rather confusing. Are we supposed to think that Communism is OK as long as capitalists are hiring the people in the Communist countries provided they don't have free labor unions?
The official story on Communism has become so confused I don't know how to tell it right.
I've lost my way. Communism is bad except when Walmart buys products made in Communist countries?
Is that it now?

(594 posts)Perhaps, but they're probably mostly all Trump or Cruz supporters who would never vote Dem no matter what, so they're not really relevant.
