I will not vote for Clinton because she thinks I'm stupid

Everyone knows the political system has gotten worse for the past 50 years by inching rightward. Democrats today are really where Republicans where in 60s/70s. With GOP going off the edge the lesser of two evils is the only reason to vote. I probably would have if not for the blatant disrespect of the Clinton campaign of my intelligence.

Latest example. Fundraising with NRA lobbyist.

https://theintercept.com/2016/03/01/nra-lobbyist-will-co-host-clinton-fundraiser/

Its mind boggling how much disdain Clinton has for the average voter. She will say anything just to get elected. On every issue. Just straight lies of her positions. 08 hitting Obama as gun taking away liberal. 16 she is the worst enemy of NRA and NRA loves Bernie. Her bank plan is tougher than Bernie despite taking millions from them. 08 single payer but in 16 its crazy and too liberal. I could go on and on.

If she just ran her campaign on her true moderate positions she would not have my vote in the primaries but I would vote for in general. Obama is just slightly to the left of her on domestic issues and she probably would not that much different. Instead she runs a campaign where she thinks I'm stupid and I will believe any crap she spews out. I have too much self respect to cast a ballot for her.

and I just can't fathom how they don't mind being played for fools. If you put issues like you so correctly identified in your OP to them - they don't know how to defend them or themselves for supporting Hillary.

than it has to do with the foolishness or stupidity of her supporters, i.e., jobs, government contracts, having a hand in setting policies, etc.

The party has spent my entire adult life blackmailing me via "lesser of two evils". Often, quite gleefully.

I'm rather tired of it.

Attempts to do anything about it from within the party have failed, due to the party leadership actively fighting the base. You're probably familiar with Lamont vs Leiberman. On a smaller scale, the county part took away a leadership seat rather than risk me winning it.

I'm out of options to stop this behavior.

The number one reason I despise Hillary Clinton is because she displays contempt for the people.

It's up to Clinton and her supporters to earn your vote.

If stroking ego's is what's needed I'm here to tell you from your writings you are smart and border on brilliant. The only person I've seen reference you as stupid is you.

What is it since SC that has the I'll never vote for her meme in such high gear?

The Democrats of today are not where the Republicans of the 60's were. They are to their right except in civil rights (but MLK was a Republican at the time).
