It will be explained to us, in patient condescending tones, that Massachusetts is part of the Deep South and that a master-slave culture persists in Boston and its environs. Also, there aren't many colleges and universities in Massachusetts so the voters there are low-info.

Who knew?

I'm here in Maryland, and Hillary is beating Bernie by nearly a 10 to 1 margin among blacks and Latinos. Black voters here are some of the most highly-educated in the country. Women are beating him by a wide margin as well.

Hey, they're all stupid and don't know what's good for them, according to these people.

I think there are four must wins: Colorado, Minnesota, Massachusetts, and, of course, Vermont.

A loss in any of those will be very damaging to the Sanders campaign/movement. A loss in Massachusetts would be the worst outside of Vermont (let's stipulate that Bernie will win Vermont in the 3-1 or better range).

Mon Feb 29, 2016, 10:34 PM
Feb 2016

Dude, even in Clinton's failed campaign against the incredibly charismatic Barack Obama she managed to win California. Sanders won't "dominate" her here. Even if he managed a win it would be a squeaker with no real margin of delegates. Clinton has the Asian vote, the Hispanic vote, and the African-American vote.

Do you not get the math? He needs BIG wins in BIG states to make up for the shellacking he's about to get. California isn't going to be a BIG win for him. Where will he pick up the kind of margins that will propel him past the very large delegate advantage Super Tuesday is going to give her? They're going to pretty much split MA. He can win MN, but by a lot? Probably not, and it's not a big delegate haul. Colorado? Again, any win will be close, with little advantage going to Sanders.
