I voted early today !

Hi,

I went down to the Courthouse annex to vote early & avoid the lines on voting day. Although I did not have to wait to vote, there was a steady stream of people voting. I live in a very Red county, 65% republican at last count; so I was one of the few Blue people there to vote early.

After I voted & was about to leave, one of the election officials asked if I could help a couple of Elderly folks that was having trouble understanding the new fangled electronic voting machines, there were no paper ballots; so I was sworn in to help. I took an Oath & signed a paper & helped 3 people vote. They all voted Republican, but did not mind that I was a Democrat helping them & they were all very polite.
