DEMOCRATS, please get Ready......

To beat ourselves before, during and after the debate!

Remember that the media and the Republicans are counting
on us, and I'm positive we won't let them down!

We are super good at this:

At the end, we will get what we worked for and therefore deserve!

No. We need to stop blaming ourselves. There is a concerted effort to turn this country over to the 1% that is proven at this point. We're up against Citizens United and other underhanded efforts regarding election and voter fraud that the Democrats do not practice but the Republicans do.

I am shocked at how people in our country just take it. Even when we know what they're doing. I'm shocked that a debate full of lying by Mitt Romney results in the Democrats attacking Obama, the best leader we've had for years.

And today I see that Chris Matthews is ready to do it again. For those with money I guess this is just a game.

When Republicans lose, they talk up their winners and demonize the other side,
When Democrats win, they sit back and do a lot of criticizing about their own!

To see countless meltdowns tonight coupled with post debate quarterbacking about how he should have done *this* or said *that*. That will probably be followed by "The Obama campaign doesn't get it". No one can tear us down as well as we can because we are the best at it.

I've been reading here for years FrenchieCat and you always nail it

Cause personally, I don't get what part of "I got your back" many Democrats
just don't get?

It's not like consistently criticizing our own has no consequences......it certainly does....
and indeed, the fact that the ones we criticize will not be the ones who will end up
doing the real suffering (because those who will suffer will be the American People),

So I humbly suggest that we be politically mindful of that when weighing the damage
our loud ass negative "need to always be right" proclaimations may cause.

These elections that are just a few weeks away is not a game,
it's truly is a matter of life and death for many! We really ought to think about that
prior to reacting, IMO!

I would humbly suggest that we fight for our side that much more,
and concentrate on the deficiency of our opponents...i.e., have our candidates' back
not stab them in it!

You see, unless someone has decided that the opponent is perfect and is above criticism
there is always legitimate work on that to be done.....as opposed to joining the opponent in
piling it on.

So I'm guessing that means that we need to be politically smart,
as opposed to feeling the need to micro manage our own side as what to do.....
cause it ain't like we actually know what to do....
we just think we do!

on what happens in this country,

When the media cheerleads us into war,
gets rid of Dean based on a supposed "scream",
dogs John Kerry about "I was for it before I was against it",
have Bush Jr. with 80%+ approval ratings in polls after 9/11
for a consecutive 12 months after that,

then there ain't nothing I can fucking say to you......period!

and on news that would benefit the left, they gloss over it, hide it, or place it in the lower left hand corner with smaller font. I notice headlines and the vast majority that are most accessible to the general public has a definite right slant. Negatives (meaning silence or non-reporting) speaks very loudly at times too. If the media was TRULY neutral, we wouldn't have much of an election. the republicans wouldn't even be in contention. and yeaa...these are just my opinions.

We're very good at 'BEATING ourselves up'. Obama may have followed bad advice from his advisors in his last debate. However, we have to believe that David Axelrod and Stephanie Cutter know what they're doing. They're able to learn from any mistakes and to make sure that the President is BETTER prepared for the next two debates. Regardless of any poll data or the media, as Dems we have to do our part to work to get this man re-elected. What is most important is that Obama gets ALL of our support along with people we have influenced on Nov. 6th....

we should be writing and calling the media when they go berserk like last Wednesday saying stupid prejudicial things about who supposedly won! You can analyze without all the cute zingers and commentary by just comparing and contrasing what was said and letting the listener decide. I despise this bandwagon effect of people jumping on one or two soundbites from the pundits and passing judgment!
