UPDATE: Paul Ryan withdraws endorsement of Wisconsin lawmaker who said "some girls rape easy"

Trying to do it in advance of the debate?

-------

Ryan withdrew his endorsement on Thursday. “State Representative Rivard’s comments are outrageous and offensive,” Kevin Siefert said in a statement. “Congressman Ryan believes there is no place in our discourse for rhetoric such as this. Congressman Ryan cannot support Mr. Rivard or his indefensible comments.”

We already know about your legitimate rape bill, so you can go fuck off and be plastered as "extreme anti-abortionist"

according to the second link, long BEFORE Ryan endorsed him. I'm sure Rivard's anti-female sentiments and uncivil tongue have long been known. Ryan just didn't like the fact they became national news as opposed to the words themselves.

Too little, too late Ryan. You can withdraw one, but you own the other lock, stock and barrel.

Oh, and in the meantime, maybe you can explain the difference between what he said and what you tried to legislate.

We need to make up ground with some of the women voters that are now apparently considering Romney.

Should our strategy be to remind them of how Todd Akin, Paul Ryan, Rick Santorum & Rivard are all part of the same party's approach to women's issues?
