Bernie Sanders finds himself in a familiar place once again. Far away from home on the campaign trail in South Carolina and Missouri on Wednesday, Sanders is once again fighting off a rush of pundits and political talkers looking to write off his presidential campaign after an upset in Nevada last weekend — but according to one new national poll, Sanders has only been growing more popular all month.

“What I would ask of the media,” Sanders said during a press conference in South Carolina Wednesday morning, “is not to look at it state-by-state.”

“We are going to win some states, we are going to lose some states,” Sanders asserted. “Let’s kind of look at the longterm thing … look at the polls, and state-by-state you know what you are seeing, the gaps are narrowing.”

And new national poll from Reuters showing Sanders leading Hillary Clinton by 6 points among Democrats — his largest lead of the primary so far — backs him up.

According to the poll of 998 voters from across the country over five days released on Tuesday, Sanders has the support of 41.7 percent of Democrats compared to Clinton’s 35.5 percent. A Reuters/ISPOS poll conducted earlier this month, immediately following the Iowa caucus, found Sanders had jumped from 30 percent support at the beginning of the year to 43 percent support, all but vanquishing Clinton’s commanding lead. Reuters also features a daily tracking feature which illustrates that Sanders has led Clinton nationally for a majority of days in February.

The corporate media conglomerates would prefer the focus to always be on one state at a time because it enables them to play mass psychology games and more easily manipulate the American People.

They would rather us focus on the trees versus viewing the entire forest.

In physics, spacetime is any mathematical model that combines space and time into a single interwoven continuum. The spacetime of our universe has historically been interpreted from a Euclidean space perspective, which regards space as consisting of three dimensions, and time as consisting of one dimension, the "fourth dimension". By combining space and time into a single manifold called Minkowski space, physicists have significantly simplified a large number of physical theories, as well as described in a more uniform way the workings of the universe at both the supergalactic and subatomic levels.

(snip)

In non-relativistic classical mechanics, the use of Euclidean space instead of spacetime is appropriate, because time is treated as universal with a constant rate of passage that is independent of the state of motion of an observer. In relativistic contexts, time cannot be separated from the three dimensions of space, because the observed rate at which time passes for an object depends on the object's velocity relative to the observer and also on the strength of gravitational fields, which can slow the passage of time for an object as seen by an observer outside the field.

In cosmology, the concept of spacetime combines space and time to a single abstract universe. Mathematically it is a manifold consisting of "events" which are described by some type of coordinate system. Typically three spatial dimensions (length, width, height), and one temporal dimension (time) are required. Dimensions are independent components of a coordinate grid needed to locate a point in a certain defined "space". For example, on the globe the latitude and longitude are two independent coordinates which together uniquely determine a location. In spacetime, a coordinate grid that spans the 3+1 dimensions locates events (rather than just points in space), i.e., time is added as another dimension to the coordinate grid. This way the coordinates specify where and when events occur. However, the unified nature of spacetime and the freedom of coordinate choice it allows imply that to express the temporal coordinate in one coordinate system requires both temporal and spatial coordinates in another coordinate system. Unlike in normal spatial coordinates, there are still restrictions for how measurements can be made spatially and temporally (see Spacetime intervals). These restrictions correspond roughly to a particular mathematical model which differs from Euclidean space in its manifest symmetry.

Until the beginning of the 20th century, time was believed to be independent of motion, progressing at a fixed rate in all reference frames; however, following its prediction by special relativity, later experiments confirmed that time slows at higher speeds of the reference frame relative to another reference frame. Such slowing, called time dilation, is explained in special relativity theory. Many experiments have confirmed time dilation, such as the relativistic decay of muons from cosmic ray showers and the slowing of atomic clocks aboard a Space Shuttle relative to synchronized Earth-bound inertial clocks.[1] The duration of time can therefore vary according to events and reference frames.

When dimensions are understood as mere components of the grid system, rather than physical attributes of space, it is easier to understand the alternate dimensional views as being simply the result of coordinate transformations.

Bernie has leaped ahead in time or "chronological order" but his speech in Kansas City, MO. also has impact in earlier states unless one believes the people in South Carolina or the Super Tuesday States don't have access to the Internet or televsion.

they see states as unwinnable.

I guess that would be the non-Euclidean model of campaigning - letting those parallel campaign paths intersect in KCMo.

putting major resources into the Granite State combined with an overwhelming number of politicians and media endorsements from there and it didn't work out too well.

All while proclaiming that New Hampshire was unwinnable because it bordered Vermont and was a largely white state, so it can go both ways.

As I and Bernie have stated he is running a national campaign.

It is a beautiful sight and uplifts the spirit to see so many people who still have hopes and dreams for the idea of what America should stand for.
Pictures like this should be put everywhere because unfortunately you read posts from people who feel a bit let down from all the negativity put out by Hillary's campaign about it being over and he should give up, etc.
People think it is only themselves who have the inspiration in their hearts, but then you see the long lines and the massive crowds and you realize that ALL of these people have made effort to get their and share their hope and inspiration. It is good for the soul.
