Right now, Clinton is being safe, Third Way co-founder Matt Bennett wrote in an email. Shes avoided signing on to the ridiculous Sanders scheme to raise benefits for all an idea that is a pipe dream and provides 5 times more benefit to the rich than to the poor.
Nancy Altman, founding co-director of Social Security Works, wrote last month in a HuffPost Politics blog that its preposterous to say that Sanders would be coddling the rich.

(30,058 posts)thinkers to determine how to best help Democrats to gain, this is a very important point to me as a Democrat, maybe not others. If you research these group you might find they are on the side of maintaining SS and Medicare along with other issues.

(30,058 posts)SS plan and in fact it is some of the same as Hillary and Sanders have in their agenda, there seems to be some confusion as to the Thirdway Agenda. Below is information from the link you provided.
We proposed our own Social Security fix plan that combined tax increases on upper income earners with benefit cuts on well-to-do seniors and benefit increases to poor seniors. We first proposed then brought Democrats and Republicans together on a Social Security Commission plan that remains the only bipartisan legislation to fix Social Security.

It is these connections that make it impossible for Hillary too move , in any meaningful way, here very high negative numbers. Unless she can, she will lose the general election.

(94,326 posts)....but Bernie doesn't have to worry about that, right? I keep hearing he'll win in a landslide.
HooptieWagon
(17,064 posts)Hope that gets better for you. No Bernie supporter has said he'll take the nomination in a landslide. In fact, the delegates proportionally awarded almost makes a landslide impossible, and guarantees a contest stretching in to summer. Thus y'all's claim of forcing Sanders out after Super Tuesday is a lot of wishfull thinking and ignorance.
