when dealing with people - feels Hillary is not honest and also that she is angry that she even has to explain anything or campaign at all. He will be casting his vote for Bernie in the Florida primary, as will his friends and family. Even if he did not go by her demeanor, he does not like her record on war and Wall Street, and feels she represents a past that did his generation no favors.

Even though I noted this person is not in the tank for anyone. I am pretty sure she just did her job and said what her professional opinion is without embellishment. Because I seriously doubt she is in the tank for the Donald. Heck she might even be a Hillary fan that someone tapped to do this. She didn't say Hillary is evil, just that she hides her thoughts more. That does not equal nefarious intentions.

I don't dislike Hillary because she lacks that genuine smile thing. I could not care less. Because even if she did smile genuinely wouldn't like her anymore than the genuine smiling, T-Rump.

I don't want anybody to support a candidate on such an unscientific notion. Not even if it's one I support. And I certainly wouldn't want anybody to oppose a candidate based on crap like this for the same reason.

Never mind the credibility of the source here. There is a difference. But I don't think it all benefits bernie.

Which smile? There's no doubt in my mind that with Bernie what you see is what you get. He doesn't smile a lot, but I believe it when he does. Hillary is a more complex person. Sometimes she's in situations where there's no complexity. Look at her smile with individuals. But sometimes she's in situations where she understands the complexities, and the situation just doesn't allow them to be pursued. E.g., in a debate. In Bernie's world there are no complexities. "We'll tell the Russians to do this and that. We'll tell Wall Street they have to..." Hillary wants to get things done. Lots of complex stuff is going on in her mind and she has to figure out the best way to communicate it in 90 seconds. She's not lying. She's just not saying everything she thinks because it would take an hour and even if she had an hour her listeners wouldn't hang around. Their brains what start hurting.

Thu Feb 18, 2016, 01:35 PM

She is often slammed when she openly expresses emotion, and often those slams are partly or even largely of the sort that would not be directed at men. For example, her uninhibited laugh is mocked in truly nasty ways, and when she raises her voice either to be heard in a large venue or because she feels passionate about something, she is criticized for that, too.

Women are criticized as being too emotional (and by implication not stable, not steady), so when they are trying to function in any field not acceptable to sexists, they have to guard their emotional expressions. It isn't easy to remain emotionally guarded most of the time, as women are expected to do outside of the home, yet drop that practiced reserve at a moment's notice to satisfy the demands of those who expect a woman to emote *to order* and *on cue*.

This is an unfair attack. As Bernie would say, stick to real issues.
