This vacancy should not be filled until we have a new president," McConnell said in a statement.

This makes it imperative that we elect a Democrat. I feel like this gives a boost to Hillary Clinton. We need to win the White House at all cost. I don't care if we receive money from big donors. We need a Democratic presidential to fill the vacancy.

If the sitting president was a Republican, these assclowns would be hollering that the very foundations of the country are at risk unless a new Justice is named and confirmed immediately. What a farce.

I think he'll get some push back even from republicans on that. The USSC justices are not elected for a reason.

We are not waiting until January to appoint a new justice.

President Obama gets to put forth his candidate and you get to "advise and consent."

We are done with Citizens United and a half dozen other conservative bullshit rulings.

Renominate all the justices that have languished on hold in the GOP-controlled Senate Justice Committe. Remind America how they have blocked and hobbled the Justice system all the way to the Supreme Court.

And I'd prefer that any future needs be handled by Sanders, who is running as a DEMOCRAT.

Maybe instead of paying beltway consultants millions for "authenticity rollouts" and poll-tested sound bites, she could actually try taking a bold stand or two on issues that young people, in particular, care about.
