2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumEven though Hillary makes it difficult as hell to vote for her, I will vote for her if she's the
nominee. She's still better than a far right republican. She's a moderate republican in the Democratic party. I'm likely to change my party ID to independent as a protest to the establishment.

(3,569 posts)thing the right doesn't get. we will never vote for an (R), no matter how much we dont care for the nominee.
Sec Clinton is the most qualified person to ever run for POTUS, but that doesnt mean we dont see alternatives that are preferable. if they dont pan out, and Sec Clinton is the nominee, i will feel happy voting for her. just not as happy, and with a touch of fatalism to boot.

(2,450 posts)If you don't, it doesn't matter quite as much. Me, for example, my state is deep red and rock solid republican. If Bernie wins, that may wobble a bit but if not - it is a virtual certainty my state will go with the republican.
That means my vote won't matter much anyway so I may as well write in the person I actually want. That's going to be Bernie.
Edited to add: By the Raiders logo, I guess you're in CA? If so, yes... It's pretty blue there. Vote dem regardless.
