Nate Silver: Romney’s ‘field goal’ in debate #1 not a game winner

From Jennifer Granholm's show:

Nate Silver, writer for The New York Times’s Five Thirty Eight blog and author of “The Signal and the Noise” takes a look at the numbers nationwide to see what kind of impact last night’s debate could have on Election Day.

“The big problem that Romney has though is that Obama is at about 49 percent in these polls without any undecideds,” Silver says. “So Obama only has to inch forward by another point or so and he can basically clinch it.”
