Is this Black vs White thing normal for a Democratic race?

The more it has become a feature of this campaign the more I wonder where this all has come from and whether this is a riff in the Democratic Party that is here to stay.

Who is gonna benefit from all of this? Blacks? Whites? Clinton? Sanders? The Democratic Party?

I don't remember this level of racial animosity in a Democratic race, ever, including 2008. But I haven't followed politics much prior to the 2000's.

To me, it seems like a damn shame.

Certainly does not bode well for the unity of the Party either. Good luck to whoever the nominee is come November. If we have an apathy problem, this will only compound it.

If you dare to support Bernie, you're automatically dubbed a BernieBro, and declared to be a racist, sexist shitlord for opposing the coronation.

she might want to take stock - Millennials HATE THIS SHIT. They are the most anti-labels generation EVER. They HATE racism, political parties, classism, ageism, etc...So, all she's doing is digging her already deep hole, deeper. Keep digging Hill! She will NEVER get the Millennial's vote after this shit.

Same with the exit polls in New Hampshire and Iowa....millennials are for Sanders.

Hillary is winning the 45 and older crowd, and Sanders is winning the under 45 crowd.

Young women especially are gravitating to Sanders which is what provoked the controversial remarks by Albright and Steinem.

He's about lifting all boats. The Clintons are butthurt because Bernie is the real deal, with a real message that speaks directly to the heart and soul of the true liberal progressive. Hillary doesn't have that in her.

They are playing on memories of the New Deal and the Populist Movement before that, where blacks were excluded. It is as cynical as it is disgusting.

This is the classic strategy of dividing the working class and making us fight each other while they rob us blind. They used to do this in the old Jim Crow South, threatening White workers that they would all be fired and replaced by Blacks if they unionized.

It was always important before but with the shifting demographics...you now need the Black Vote to get the nomination. So the pandering is much more obvious nowadays.
