This John Lewis Thing is Being Blown Out of Proportion (Video)

http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/watch/lewis-on-sanderss-civil-rights-record-621092419770

The part about Bernie wasn't part of his prepared remarks, it was in response to a question of what he thought of Bernie's civil rights record. It sounds to me like he's simply stating that he never met Sanders during that time, but he "knows," in other words, is confident of the commitment that Hillary and Bill have to civil rights. The main portion of his remarks are about going to SC to campaign for Hillary, he doesn't mention Bernie at all.

Then again, this is DU, promotional responses aren't really our thing.
