Tweety on Thom Hartmann Show now.

Tweety calls Bernie just a Socialist, claims he is nothing more. When Thom tries to rebut, Chris said, "I don't want to argue." Tweety wants to just say his peace and get off. He then states "Bernie might win 5 or 6 primaries and that's all."

When Thom said Bernie's been on his show once a week for 10 years, Tweets said "You know him better than I do. I don't know him."

It is astonishing how closed minded Hill backers are, especially when they admit they don't know him. It tickles me to listen to such ignorance.

Now Steph is a definite Hillary supporter so I'm sure Tweety could spew to his hearts content. I wouldn't listen.

I don't understand the point of his being on these shows. Those who listen to Steph and are Bernie supporters are not going to be convinced otherwise by Tweety. And many Bernie people just have taken a break from Steph or switch it off when it gets too partisan. Thom, while a Bernie supporter, won't allow any Clinton bashing on his program. But who would Tweety affect from listeners to that program. Seems an odd place for him to do his rabid-dog foaming at the mouth shtick.

and Stephanie hung up on him.

She cannot handle having a debate. It's no wonder why Chris left. He challenged her on spanking & she would not let it go.

4. Tweety just can't seem to fathom the idea of democratic socialism.

He goes off all time on this screed about socialism as if Bernie is Hugo Chavez and just blows off anyone who tries to explain the nuances to him. It's rather frustrating really. He's not a stupid man, why insists on pretending to be is annoying and ridiculous.

those that have listened to these many many hours - know Sanders

call after call - telling all who will listen who he is and what he thinks

There is no other person in leadership positions that has opened themselves up to that extent

The best thing is --- I have seen Sanders hit with issues that he was not aware of --
Over time he learns and comes to sound positions on these issues

He listens - learns and is consistent in promoting sound solutions

9. Heard it. He was so rude to Thom. And then he lied and said Bernie doesn't call himself

a Democratic Socialist, that he calls himself a socialist. He said he's socialist all the way. Thom schooled him politely on what that is and he kept saying the public needs to know he's a socialist.

And then Thom brought up FDR and Tweety says, um, I would call FDR a liberal, Bernie is full on socialist.

What a tool. Toeing the corporate line...

He has always been the establishment's version of a Democrat they can use to keep us in line, to herd us back to corporate- and MIC-friendly viewpoints whenever we "stray" from beltway groupthink. Chris Mathews isn't a friend of ours in any way, and has no legitimate business in any discussion with genuine progressives like Bernie and Thom.
