I have just joined an ever expanding group here on DU,

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by tammywammy (a host of the 2016 Postmortem forum).

yes, I have been banned from the Hillary group. I knew my post was very closed to being unacceptable but the hostility shown in the post I responded to apparently clouded my judgement. I did not realize I was replying to a Hillary forum post but I did not often post there anyway.

The one thing that bothered me was that while my post was in poor taste, the OP that started the thread was, again in my opinion, just as nasty. It seems there are two very different standards in who and how we discuss our candidates. FYI the original post was

"Bernie Sanders is currently the beneficiary of an anti-Hillary Clinton ratfucking assault that would make Donald Segretti
cringe. How can you possibly say he has clean hands in this matter?"

It seems they all are touchy and reactive.

Because when Manny was trying to encourage his followers to "protest" at a Hillary event in Boston, I asked him if he would be joining them to lead them. I did add this smiley but I never once said a bad thing about Bernie.

As a result, the only way to be sure you are not posting in one of the groups is to carefully check the path at the top of the reply screen.

Keep in mind, however, that based on the 6:1 (Bernie to Hillary) supporters ratio that Skinner himself tells us about, the Bernie group bans a bigger percentage than the Hillary group does. So, it looks like you're in a pretty exclusive group if you ask me.

Note to Jury: Nobody was attacked or smeared in this post. I'm just stating mathematical facts. I did not make up the 6:1 ratio, that's something that Skinner has pointed out.

Remember, we have to assume they are part of the herd of Democrats. I believe about half of them may be.

Yeah. I don't like the way they hide in their room and throw things out into the general DU population, and we cannot respond because they have blocked us from their room. So I reprinted the text of the post and responded to it on GD-P. The thread was locked for being "off topic." So a post about the Democratic primary candidates has nothing to do with the Democratic primaries. That's interesting. I had this happen once before, as one of the hosts followed me from one place to another, locking threads. Don't be surprised if they lock this thread, too.
