Hillary's SHOCKING 2014 Goldman Sachs speech. Here's the video, which has been

on the internet for a year.

GS hosted a dinner promoting its 10,000 women initiative at the Clinton Foundation. It's all about empowering women in business. The horror!

On September 23, 2014, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women hosted its annual dinner at the Clinton Global Initiative.

The event featured a keynote address from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on the business case for empowering women to ensure future economic growth.

http://www.goldmansachs.com/citizenship/10000women/news-and-events/10kwprogressreport.html

In 2008, the 10,000 Women initiative was launched by the Goldman Sachs Foundation to educate women entrepreneurs in emerging economies. The initiative was designed specifically to provide a business education, access to mentors and networks, and links to capital for 10,000 underserved women operating small businesses. By the close of 2013, the initiative had enrolled its 10,000th woman.

The findings of the report demonstrate that the 10,000 Women initiative makes a difference in how women entrepreneurs grow their businesses, how they develop personally and how they make a contribution to society. The key conclusions of the report are:

• Women can be exceptional entrepreneurs across a diverse array of country and cultural contexts
• 10,000 Women helps entrepreneurs grow their businesses and develop their business acumen
• Mentoring, advising and networks are highly valued in the growth process
Women entrepreneurs grow their businesses despite a lack of external financing

Also that is technically a Clinton Foundation speech. The speeches at Goldman Sachs were not recorded.

But the list itself doesn't include the Goldman Sachs speech -- probably because the donation went to the Foundation.

59. Here is a pretty good report.

Hillary Clinton's Speaking Circuit Payday: $5 Million (and Counting)
As Clinton mulls a 2016 run for the White House, she's pocketing checks from corporate heavyweights—and raising questions about access and influence.

Mother Jones -- By Andy Kroll -- Wed May 21, 2014

Bill and Hillary Clinton spent the final years of the Clinton presidency cash-strapped and buried in legal debts. But they weren't hurting for long: In her final days as first lady, Hillary landed a near-record $8 million advance for her memoir Living History, and by the time her 2008 presidential campaign was in full swing, the Clintons were flush, together having earned $109 million in the previous seven years. ...

Since leaving State, Clinton has made more than 90 speeches and notable appearances. Her hosts have included private equity firms, investment banks, nonprofit galas, trade association conventions, and a slew of colleges and universities. At least two-dozen of those were paid speeches. With her usual fee of $200,000 a speech, Clinton has banked close to $5 million for her speeches and appearances in the last 15 months. (A spokesman for Clinton did not respond to multiple requests for comment.)

Here is a list of Clinton's speeches and appearances: at link

... Clinton's decision to pocket six-figure sums from Big Finance heavyweights and other corporate players might tarnish her public image, says Russ Baker, a Rutgers University political scientist. Baker notes that Clinton's coziness with Wall Street could come back to bite her in a Democratic primary, especially at a time when populist figures such as Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio are ascendant within her Democratic Party.

"If somebody comes at her from the left, I certainly can imagine [private equity firm] Kohlberg Kravis Roberts being used against her as a battering ram," Baker says. "It plays into a narrative that almost anybody left of her would want to develop, that she's basically part of the Wall Street wing of the Democratic Party."

There is no reason to create several threads in response in GD.

And I guess you didn't like the picture of Hillary canvassing... It had such a catchy thread title I knew a few people would just have to read it.

And I'm not dodging the message (i.e. the SOP for GDP) in this case... It is what it is, it's written right at the top of each forum.

I think HRC has some explaining to do. The American people should see the complete transcripts and any and all videos of these speeches as well. Cui bono?

33. I am saying I have seen links for that amount going to the Foundation.

Where have you seen amounts specifically given to her, personally?

43. show me the links

Every source I have seen say SHE was paid 675K for at least 3 speeches. She also made at least 200K per speech at several colleges and Howard Dean ate lots of crow when he was proven wrong about that.

48. Mrs. Clinton spoke at Goldman events twice: on Oct. 24, 2013, to its hedge fund and private equity

clients, and again on Oct 29, at Goldman’s tech summit. Both were question-and-answer sessions, according to people who attended, and at the second, Lloyd Blankfein, the chief executive and chairman of Goldman Sachs, was among her questioners. In June of that year she was also paid for an additional event that included Goldman and other groups. She was paid $225,000 for each.

37. There is nothing misleading about my post. This is a speech she made at a Goldman

Sachs event held at the Clinton Foundation. And it is one of the speeches she's been criticized for.

64. Wrong.

It was a Clinton Global Inititive event, underwritten by Goldman Sachs. It is NOT one of the paid speeches to Goldman Sachs that she is being questioned about. You know that by now, obviously. But you just as obviously don't mind being disingenuous if you think it helps your candidate. By coincidence your candidate doesn't mind either.

12. When we paid her to speak at my company event...

She essentially talked about women's right, and how empowering it was to see so many women leaders, but also that they shouldn't consider their work done... Our CEO is male, she pointed at him, it was awkward but we all got through it.

She was a great speaker and I think it did empower some of my co-workers.

She also did admit she was satan, but no one got that part on video.

23. Yes, and pieces are on YouTube, and Instagram.

It's on our server and our internal website, I'm not about to post it here. I like my job and I'm not going to break some company policy by posting our internal stuff.

I also don't want everyone on DU to know who I work for.

Some anonymity is nice.

But yes she spoke, we paid $225,000 to hear it.

74. Hey I don't know about your company or about you.

But I have a problem with a politician being paid obscene amounts of money by a corporation like Goldman Sachs who has proven that are untrustworthy. Goldman Sachs was a primary actor in the fall of the housing market in the US. Their bad acts left many Americans homeless and penniless here and damaged people and companies abroad as well. To make matter worse, we had to bail their evil asses out. Yup they are pretty close to Satan. And I like many Americans want to see those transcripts. What is being hidden? Cui bono?

When I saw this I was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. But come to find out this is not one of the paid speeches? If the op was aware of this then it is really disappointing. And rather shameful.

96. Is reading comprehension a problem for you? Goldman Sachs paid for her

to give this speech at a dinner Goldman Sachs hosted at the Clinton Foundation in honor of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women initiative.

So this is one of the "Goldman Sachs speeches" for which she received payment that people have been talking about. The locale isn't the issue.

97. For some reason

I don't think those that want her to release her speech transcripts are going to be happy unless it includes something like this:

" I want thank my Wall Street owners for providing me such a generous allowance to be allowed the privilege of addressing them tonight. In return, I will deliver the United States to them. and everything in it, so that we can offer it and the world to our Supreme Overlord, Thanos.

HAIL HYDRA!"
