because he's always been very open and activist-oriented with his progressive views (not the Hillary-type progressive either).

His endorsement of Bernie comes as no surprise and I'm glad he's lending his support to the movement.

but my biggest claim to fame is a toddler costume that was on Toddlers & Tiaras for like two seconds, er, wait...not something to brag about, actually. Still trying to find my niche.

31. It's a real story....

He was to fly into Charleston for a long one time fitting session...of course the day before shooting began. He fell asleep on the plane and no one woke him up until they landed in Columbia (SC)! So someone had to drive to Columbia and get him. No fittings! I had patterned and cut his stuff (nothing elaborate mind you) according to measurements (he's a big guy) and it all fit perfectly....of course

Seriously, it wasn't anything too difficult, mostly 19th century pants and shirts, one sorta unlined short-coat. All of it was teched (made to look worn and old....he played a sharecropper after all) on the set.

36. Gonna repeat this - I met him on a flight in the late 1980s

I was a flight attendant and he was flying home from a protest to help agricultural workers. He was REALLY hungry because he hadn't eaten in days (as part of the protest) so I found him an extra meal. He's a very nice man with a big heart.
