From article:
Reporting on the interview, Inside U.S. Trade noted:
The Chamber president said he expected Hillary Clinton would ultimately support the TPP if she becomes the Democratic nominee for president and is elected. He argued that she has publicly opposed the deal chiefly because her main challenger, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), has also done so. "If she were to get nominated, if she were to be elected, I have a hunch that what runs in the family is you get a little practical if you ever get the job," he said.

Makes you wonder about those speaking fees, doesn't it?
Only kidding. No one is wondering about something so obvious.

(5,082 posts)Clinton talked about how she thinks that Jeb Bush is the only voice on the other side that is demonstrating strong American values, according to an attendee speaking to CNN. Of course the Clintons and Bushes are colluding and have always been part of the same team. It's disgusting but people aren't falling for the treachery and tricks anymore.

(443 posts)And by serious, I mean candidates who have viable campaigns. They are both running as Democrats.
And only one has the interests of the people and the nation as the cornerstone of his campaign. It is an extraordinary imbalance. And yet, and yet, the fear that the monied class will do some claim-jumping haunts the process. Integrity is not their strong suit. That's why they have more money than they know what to do with.
And then, there's the Donald. I think a lot of people could be very comfortable with him in the figurehead position, with them pulling his strings, or trying to. That's a situation I really don't want to think about. And yet, and yet, that's the second most likely outcome...according to the handicappers I trust.
