Now that Romney has solved our Health Care crisis by directing the poor to Emergency Rooms...

...let me suggest a creative new strategy, that I think he'll be comfortable with, for working class job development:

"Are there no prisons?" asked Scrooge.

"Plenty of prisons," said the gentleman, laying down the pen again.

"And the Union workhouses?" demanded Scrooge. "Are they still in operation?"

"They are. Still," returned the gentleman, "I wish I could say they were not."

"The Treadmill and the Poor Law are in full vigour, then?" said Scrooge.

"Both very busy, sir."

"Oh! I was afraid, from what you said at first, that something had occurred to stop them in their useful course," said Scrooge. "I'm very glad to hear it."

Yes, they treat you if you don't have insurance, but then they bill you and expect you to pay it. I had a heart attack while uninsured and unemployed, told them from the very beginning that I didn't have health insurance. They treated me, got a stent in my heart. But I don't have the $36k to pay them for the thrilling experience. That was 2 years ago, I still get bills from them on occasion. I lost my house, still don't have a job. I'm just a freeloader I guess.
