Evolution of ideals

There has always been a schism of sorts in the Democratic Party. Competing ideals. During HRC's run in 2008 it became worse. The 2008 campaign was about very different approaches to government. The current shift started there. The president's success has been amazing, especially given the level of opposition he has faced. President Obama will will be hailed as one of the greatest presidents in our country's history. Elite and honored company. We can do more. We have to be better. We need to move forward with a different vision for the future than the standard playbook of politicians can offer.

Why is this election cycle different? Clinton doesn't get it. Teapublicans don't get it. Most political pundits don't get it. Its not about Bernie. That is what is missed. Bernie is our muse. Our imputus to move us forward. We are the painters, the writers, the sculptors of our own future. Bernie is the herald for our message.

Change is hard. I mean real foundational-level change. Our ability to make those changes depends on us, the choices we make.
I really believe we are at a pivot-point in our evolutionary development. Our society, our world, is on the cusp of a social and technological evolution, waiting to be grabbed and we have to decide: What do we want from ourselves and our world? What kind of people do we want to be? What legacy do we want for those that come after us?

Its not hyperbole, don't shut it out or be jaded.

No, it's not because of people like Bernie. He is just a single step forward. He is the indicator, the signal, that, as a society, we may be ready to take greater steps forward to the world we really want and not the life we settle for.

This one section...

"President Obama will will be hailed as one of the greatest presidents in our country's history. Elite and honored company. We can do more. We have to be better. We need to move forward with a different vision for the future than the standard playbook of politicians can offer."

So true.

This is our opportunity to take America to a new level.

Totally agree!

"No, it's not because of people like Bernie. He is just a single step forward. He is the indicator, the signal, that, as a society, we may be ready to take greater steps forward to the world we really want and not the life we settle for."

Right on!

and shouldn't take this status quo any longer. This status quo means going further downhill.
People of all parties don't want to remain stuck in this rut that our nation is in, and Bernie
is the one who is pointing out all the things that are wrong with the way we are heading, and
how we should be getting out of our present rut.

Deep down, most people agree with what he is saying. And they know what he is saying
is true. Yes, more and more Republicans are joining him by the day. Regardless of the
propaganda and lies of the Corporate Power people, it is the American people who will be
voting.

We, the American people, will be giving Corporate America a big fight. If enough of us
vote, we can't help but win!!
