I watch a program on PBS called Journeys thru Japan. They highlight many interesting places thru out Japan... Good stuff...

I will probably never make it to Japan and this program satisfys my curiosity about the country. My father was a Merchant Seaman and traveled to Japan many times in the '50's and 60's. He told fantastic stories about the country.. He even snuck in one of the first Honda motorbikes to the US!
Of course as a 6 year old I though it was for ME!!! Alas all I got was a kimono and an abacus...
