I should open a flee market both. Ask an atheist $3 a question.

Everytime some believer finds out I'm an atheist or sees me in my Atheist Experience t shirt, they always want to come up and try to change my mind. And they start by asking me stupid questions that apparently are to get me to think about how wrong I am, or something I guess.

If I'm going to hear them ask it I really should be getting paid to. Seriously, people at a customer service desk get paid to listen to stupid complaints so why shouldn't I get paid to here theists stupid questions?

And their questions aren't even original. They are the same stupid questions over and over again. It the same worn-out script.

Really, if I'm going to end up heading their attempt at making a believer with a bunch of stupid, scripted questions I should get paid for it.

If you don’t believe in god how can you have a moral compass?

Took me one second but I said: The idea of good and evil was long before Jesus or the Moses. Even Romans knew the difference.

I also said I don’t need ten written rules to tell or remind me what is right or wrong.

If religion is all that’s keeping you from doing terrible things, then you’re not a good person; you’re a terrible person on a leash.

Their view of the universe is that the only reason you would disagree with them about anything is that you must be uninformed or willfully wicked. There are obviously no other possibilities.

Just have a list of FAQ's and answers printed up. Keep a few with you at all times, whip one out and hand it to them. That should save a lot of time and energy.

Thus the flee market idea.

Found a few here:
https://icebreakerideas.com/unanswerable-questions/

If you were shorter than someone, would it be possible to talk down to them?
What hair color do they put in bald people’s driver’s licenses?
Do prison buses have emergency exits?
Why do we cook bacon and bake cookies?
If you told someone to ‘be a leader and not a follower’, wouldn’t they become a follower by following your advice?
If the early bird gets the worm, why do good things come to those who wait?
If Cinderella’s shoe fit her perfectly, then why did it fall off?
Why do noses run but feet smell?
Isn’t it that when you wait for the waiter to come back with your order, you become the waiter in the process?
If God sneezed, what would you say?
If revenge is a dish that’s best served cold, and revenge is sweet, then is revenge ice cream?

My wife’s response is to ask which god they believe in. Then she tells them that she believes in all of them and the Norse are her favorites.

I try to ignore them, tell them I'm not interested in their beliefs. But they just keep at it.

Ya know if they are so adamant about wasting my time I should at least get paid. Maybe order a shirt or bumper sticker for my wheelchair with my rates ...

But really, I'm just tired of it. And of all them that wants to pray with me for "god's healing".
